Welcome to Parosh's Academic Profile. Mr. Parosh Yaseen is Kurdish and comes from Kirkuk, in Kurdistan-Iraq. He teaches General and Academic English at Knowledge University. He is an Assistant Lecturer in the Dentistry and Nursing Colleges/ Departments. He is a graduate of Kirkuk University and has got MSc from Salahaddin University- Erbil. He speaks three languages, Kurdish, English and Arabic. He is 35 years old. He taught English and many related subjects at Soran University, Cihan University, Noble & SHKO Private Institutes and many International and local schools like Sabis, Dedawan, Fakhir Mergasori, Garwazin and Azadi. He translated and published two books from English to Kurdish. As well as translated and subtitled many English movies, songs and videos.

My Philosophy in Teaching:
My philosophy of teaching a language is to understand the principles of learners development, their individually physical, cognitive, emotional, social areas and learning profiles in order to create a supportive learning environment that take into account individual students’ needs. If the teachers create spontaneous classroom interaction as daily practice that integrate language, culture and students´ interests, the students will be able to communicate successfully in different contexts using the language as it is used in real life.
