Mujeeb Ur Rahman  is currently working as a  Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, Knowledge University, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Prior to his recent appointment at Knowledge University, he was a Professor & Principal at MESCO Institute of Pharmacy, Amroha, UP (India), affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and Uttar Pradesh, India.

Dr. Mujeeb Ur Rahman received his undergraduate degree in 2006 as well as his M. Pharm. degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry; in 2009 from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry; in 2014 from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India.

Dr. Mujeeb published a number of papers in preferred Journals and participated in a range of forums on Pharmaceutical and Medical science. He also presented various academic as well as research-based papers at several national and international conferences, including Healthcare India 2012” on 20-23  Feb. 2012, held on New Delhi India.; 69th IPC on 22-24 Dec. 2017, held on Chitkara University Rajpura, India; and the National Conference in Healthcare India 2012” on 20-23 Feb. 2012, held on New Delhi, India. He was Organizing Chairman(Convener) of One day National Conference on “QSAR Antiviral agents vs SARS CoV2: An Overview” held on May 14, 2022 at MESCO Institute of Pharmacy, Amroha.

His research activities are in the fields of synthesis and characterization of heterocyclic derivatives (Quinazoline, Benzimidazole and thiazole) with antihypertensive and anti-inflammatory activities.
