Sumaya Basit Abdullah is an assistant lecturer at Knowledge University and a PhD student. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology (2015–2019) and her master’s degree in genetics (2020–2023) from the College of Science, Salahaddin University.
Her master’s thesis was titled:
“Association of Genetic Polymorphism from CYP1A1*2C Variant (Ile462Val) and TP53 Codon 72 in Acute and Chronic Myelogenous Leukemic Patients.”
Through this research, she developed advanced skills in molecular biology, genetic analysis, and cancer research.
