Maysaa Abdul-Kareem Mahmood is a lecturer in the Department of English language Teaching , College of Education, Knowledge University. She holds Master and Bachelor degrees in English Language and Linguistics from Baghdad University. Mrs. Maysa has been working since 2007 as a university lecturer, researcher, external evaluator, and translator. She was granted an advanced IELTS certificate from Stevenson College-Edinburgh/Scotland, in 2012. Her main research interests include, EFT/ESL  issues , Discourse Analysis, Reading & Listening EFL/ESL Comprehension, Conversational Repair Techniques and Enhancing communicative skills in EFL classrooms.
