Bachelor's Degree in Medical Microbiology, from the College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University, Erbil - Kurdistan - Iraq, (2019). 

Master's Degree in Medical Microbiology and Clinical Immunology from the College of Pharmacy at Hawler Medical University, Erbil - Kurdistan - Iraq, (2023). 

Worked as a volunteering  laboratory assistant in General Biochemistry, Human Physiology, and Human Histology laboratories, at the College of Pharmacy - Hawler Medical University, Erbil - Kurdistan -Iraq, (2019-2020). 

Worked as a part-time lecturer at Cihan University, Department of Medical Microbiology for one academic year, (2023). 

Worked as a regulatory affairs specialist for over 5 years in the private sector (KMCA representative), Erbil - Kurdistan - Iraq. 

A.L. Lana S. Akraee joined Knowledge University in 2024-2025 as a lecturer in the Medical Microbiology Department - College of science, and serves as the head of the Quality assurance committee and a member in the Examining committee as well as in the  at the same college.
