College of Science Hosts Environmental Health Festival Focused on Microbial & Microplastic Impact

The Medical Microbiology Department at the College of Science, Knowledge University, in collaboration with IsoLab, Haji Idris Charity Foundation, and Hasar Organization, successfully organized a festival titled “Environmental Health through Microbial & Microplastic Lens”. The event aimed to raise awareness about the impact of microbes and microplastics on environmental health and sustainability.
The festival was honored by the presence of Dashti Haji Najmaddin – Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Talib Khalil Ibrahim – Vice President of Knowledge University for Scientific Affairs, along with the Head of the Medical Microbiology Department, academic staff, and students. The gathering provided a platform for insightful discussions, scientific presentations, and interactive activities focusing on the environmental challenges posed by microbial and microplastic pollution.
Held at Knowledge University’s campus, the event attracted a wide audience, including students and professionals passionate about environmental health and microbiology. Through exhibitions and expert talks, participants explored innovative solutions to mitigate environmental contamination.
This festival marks another successful initiative by Knowledge University in promoting scientific research and environmental consciousness, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and social responsibility.
