College of Sciences Celebrates World Heart Day with Informative Seminar

On the occasion of World Heart Day, September 29th, the College of Sciences at Knowledge University, under the supervision of Dr. Rzgar Farooq, Dean of the College and in the presence of Dr.Talib Khalil Ibrahim - Vice President for Scientific Affairs, organized an insightful seminar to raise awareness about heart health. The event featured a presentation by Dr. Shwan Othman Amin, a renowned expert in the field, who provided valuable information on heart health disorders and strategies for prevention.
Held at the university’s conference hall, the seminar was attended by academic staff and students from various departments, all of whom gained vital knowledge on maintaining a healthy heart. In addition to the lecture, informational posters were distributed, highlighting key preventive measures such as adopting a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and avoiding harmful habits like smoking.
