An Inspiring Journey with Lana S. Sabri
Knowledge University recently sat down for an inspiring interview with Asst. Lec. Lana S. Sabri to discuss her academic journey and professional growth. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of following one's passion.
Lana's path wasn't always clear. When she first joined the Medical Microbiology department as a student, the field felt so new and unfamiliar that she considered changing her department three times. However, during her university years, she discovered a natural talent for teaching; her classmates frequently turned to her to explain complex lessons, noting her ability to make difficult topics easy to understand.
By her third year, Lana realized that teaching was her true passion. Her dedication led her to become a lecturer at the College of Science at Knowledge University at the age of 25. Today, she views her students not just as learners, but as friends. Her core advice to the younger generation is simple yet profound: "Do what you love, ignore negativity, and stay focused on your dreams."
"بەدوای ئەو شتەدا بکەوە کە خۆشت دەوێت": گەشتێکی ئیلهامبەخش لەگەڵ مامۆستای یاریدەدەر لانا سەردار سەبری
زانکۆی نۆڵج چاوپێکەوتنێکی سەرنجڕاکێشی لەگەڵ مامۆستای یاریدەدەر لانا سەردار سەبری ئەنجامدا بۆ تاوتێکردنی گەشتە ئەکادیمییەکەی و گەشەپێدانی پیشەیی. چیرۆکی ئەو گەواهیدەری هێزی بەردەوامی و گرنگیی شوێنکەوتنی خولیایە.
ڕێگاکەی لانا هەمیشە ڕوون نەبووە. کاتێک وەک خوێندکارێک چووە بەشی مایکرۆبایۆلۆجی پزیشکی، بوارەکە ئەوەندە نوێ و نامۆ بوو بۆی کە سێ جار بیری لە گۆڕینی بەشەکەی کردەوە. بەڵام لە ساڵانی زانکۆیدا، بەهرەیەکی سروشتی لە فێرکردندا دۆزییەوە؛ هاوپۆلەکانی زۆرجار پەنایان بۆ دەبرد بۆ ڕوونکردنەوەی وانەکان، بەو پێیەی دەیتوانی بابەتە قورسەکان بە شێوەیەکی ئاسان تێبگەیەنێت.
لە ساڵی سێیەمدا، لانا درکی بەوە کرد کە فێرکردن خولیای ڕاستەقینەی ئەوە. دڵسۆزییەکەی وای لێکرد لە تەمەنی ٢٥ ساڵیدا ببێتە مامۆستا لە کۆلێژی زانستی زانکۆی نۆڵج. ئەمڕۆ ئەو سەیری خوێندکارەکانی دەکات نەک تەنها وەک فێرخواز، بەڵکو وەک هاوڕێ. ئامۆژگاری سەرەکی ئەو بۆ نەوەی گەنج سادەیە بەڵام قووڵە: "ئەو کارە بکە کە خۆشت دەوێت، چاوپۆشی لە نەرێنییەکان بکە، و سەرنجت لەسەر خەونەکانت بێت."
