College of Engineering Delegation Visits Environmental Protection and Improvement Directorate

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

A delegation from Knowledge University, consisting of Assist. Prof. Dr. Marwan Aziz, Dean of the College of Engineering; Ms. Diana Aziz, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering; and Dr. Rebwar Nasser, faculty member of the college, visited the Directorate of Environmental Protection and Improvement.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential joint projects and collaborative plans. It was agreed that in 2026, Knowledge University and the Environmental Protection Directorate will organize several important scientific, awareness, and community-based activities focusing on environmental risks, climate change, and the environmental challenges facing the Kurdistan Region. The two institutions will later present detailed proposals and scientific recommendations to the relevant authorities to support environmental sustainability and public awareness.
