Scientific Field Visit to Mihrabani Teaching Hospital for Radiology Students

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

first-year students from the Radiologic Imaging Department at the Technical Health College of Knowledge University – Erbil conducted a scientific field visit to the MihrabaniTeaching Hospital in Erbil, under the supervision of Dr. Riyadh Saeed Aqeed - Head of Radiology Technology Department.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Shalaw Aziz, Director of the Radiology Unit at the hospital, along with the professional radiology staff. The team provided the students with an in-depth explanation of the operations and importance of the Radiology Department and medical imaging technologies. The session highlighted the use of advanced imaging tools such as:

1. X-ray Imaging

2. CT Scanning

3. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

In addition to the technology, the hospital staff elaborated on the standard working protocols and radiation safety procedures followed in clinical environments.

During the visit, students toured various sections of the radiology department and gained close-up exposure to how medical imaging equipment is operated. They also observed how radiologic technologists manage different clinical cases. Furthermore, students participated in scientific discussions with the technical and medical teams, giving them a valuable opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through hands-on learning and practical understanding in a real hospital setting.

This field trip served as an essential step in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice for future radiology professionals.

سەردانێکی زانستی بۆ قوتابیانی بەشی تەکنیکەکانی وینەگرتنی تیشک بۆ نەخۆشخانەی میهرەبانی لە پارێزگای هەولێر بەشی تەکنیکەکانی وێنەگرتنی تیشکی-کۆلێژی تەکنیکی تەندروستی لە زانکۆی نۆلج-هەولێر 

سەردانێکی مەیدانی بۆ قوتابیانی قۆناغی یەکەم بۆ نەخۆشخانەی میهرەبانی لە شاری هەولێر لە 11ی ئایار 2025 بە سەرپەرشتی دکتۆر ریاض سعید عکید ڕێکخست. لە نەخۆشخانەکەدا لەلایەن بەرێز مامۆستا شالاو عزیز سەرپەرشتیاری یەکەی تیشکدانەوە و بەڕێزان ستافی بەشی تیشکدانەوە پێشوازییان لێکرا، کە ڕوونکردنەوەیەکی وردی لەسەر کارەکانی بەشی تیشک و وێنەگرتنی پزیشکی پێشکەش کرد، تیشکیان خستە سەر گرنگترین ئامێرە پێشکەوتووەکان کە لە بواری تیشکدا بەکاردەهێنرێن، وەک ١-تیشکی ئێکس X-ray، ٢- سی تی سکان CT، ٣- وێنەگرتنی دەنگدانەوە موگناتیسیەکان (MRI)جگە لەوە... پرۆتۆکۆڵەکانی کارکردن و سەلامەتی تیشکدانەوە لە نەخۆشخانەکەدا پەیڕەو کرا. لە میانی سەردانەکەدا، فێرخوازان گەشتیان بە بەشەکانی یەکەی تیشکدانەوە کرد، لە نزیکەوە ئاشنابوون لە کارپێکردنی ئامێرەکان و چۆنیەتی مامەڵەکردن لەگەڵ حاڵەتە کلینیکییە جیاوازەکاندا. هەروەها بەشدارییان لە گفتوگۆ زانستییە کارلێککارەکاندا لەگەڵ تیمی تەکنیکی و پزیشکیدا کرد، دەرفەتیان بۆ ڕەخساند کە تێگەیشتنە پراکتیکیەکانیان قووڵتر بکەنەوە و فێربوونی تیۆری خۆیان بە بەکارهێنانی بە شیوەیکی بڕاکتیکی لە شوێنی کاردا.
