Medical Microbiology Students Lead Community Health Awareness Event at Grand Majidi Mall

In a meaningful contribution, undergraduates from the Department of Medical Microbiology conducted a social awareness event at Grand Majidi Mall in Erbil. Led by the Asst. Lect. Lana Sardar and in the presence of the Dean of College of Sciences - Dr. Rzigar Faroq, the initiative offered health information sessions and free tests to mall visitors, helping to educate the public on early detection and preventive measures.

Throughout the event, students provided hands-on guidance and distributed informative materials on health awareness, risk factors, and the importance of regular screening. Visitors benefited from professional instructions and free testing services, encouraging proactive healthcare and empowering the local community with vital knowledge.

The activity was well-received, drawing a considerable number of participants and reinforcing the importance of community-led health education initiatives in Erbil.
