Knowledge University Lecturer Uncovers 423 Medical Errors in Kurdistan Region Study

A recent study conducted by Dr.Karez Abdulghani, a senior lecturer at the College of Pharmacy at Knowledge University, has shed light on the alarming frequency of medication misuse among patients in the Kurdistan Region. The research identified 423 medical errors among 203 patients, highlighting the pressing need for improved medical practices and patient awareness. Dr.Karez Abdulghani presented her findings at the symposium of the Rwanga Research Center, held at the Lebanese-French University on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Her study emphasizes the prevalence of medication-related mistakes and the risks they pose to patient health.
