Knowledge University Hosts Largest Job Exhibition for the Second Version

Knowledge University marked a significant milestone today with the opening of its second Job Fair, a monumental event aimed at bridging the gap between graduates and the job market. Held under the patronage of the Board of Trustees and the Presidency of Knowledge University, the event was inaugurated in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the US Consul General in Erbil, Mr. Steven Bitner, a representative of UNDP in Iraq, and the Director General of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Regional Government. A large number of officials, guests, and industry leaders also graced the occasion.
Organized by the Career Development Center at Knowledge University, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Marwan Aziz Mohammad, the job fair was a collaborative effort with support from USAID, UNDP, and the Sukkal application. Over 180 companies and NGOs participated, offering a wide range of job opportunities for graduates across various fields. This initiative underscores Knowledge University's commitment to fostering employment and revitalizing the workforce in the Kurdistan Region. The job fair aligns with the university’s strategic vision of equipping graduates with the tools and opportunities necessary to succeed in a competitive job market. “The participation of such a large number of employers highlights the value of partnerships between academia and industry,” said Asst. Prof. Marwan Aziz. “We are proud to see our graduates being given a platform to showcase their talents and contribute to the development of our region.”
Knowledge University plans to continue hosting these exhibitions as an annual tradition, ensuring its role as a leader in connecting education with employment while contributing to the economic growth of the Kurdistan Region.
