Knowledge University Celebrates 12th Graduation Ceremony

On Monday, October 7th, 2024, Knowledge University celebrated its 12th Graduation Ceremony for the academic year 2023-2024. The event, held on the KNU campus, was conducted under the supervision of the Board of Trustees and the President of Knowledge University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dzeiy. Attendees included Mr. Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research; government and party officials; the university's academic staff; and graduating students, accompanied by their families.

The ceremony commenced with a grand procession of graduates from all colleges of the university, followed by the entrance of the academic staff and the University Council. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dzeiy then delivered a speech on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the President of Knowledge University, highlighting the institution’s achievements and future vision.

Following the president's speech, the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education addressed the audience, and a special moment unfolded when a brand-new 2024 car was awarded to the university's top-ranking student, Salwa Essam Salim, by the university president.

The event concluded with the distribution of awards to the top-performing students across various departments, including those who excelled at the university-wide level. This year, 418 students received their bachelor’s degrees, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys.
