College of Law Opens Training Course on Evidence and Crime at Sarwaran Police Station

Erbil - Kurdistan Region

Continuing its commitment to practical education, the College of Law at Knowledge University has launched a specialized training course for a group of its law students at Sarwaran Police Station. The course, titled "Introduction of Students to Evidence and Crime in Practice," is being conducted during the summer holidays and aims to provide hands-on experience in the field of evidence collection and crime investigation.

The training is led by Hamad Ali Ismail, an expert in evidence and crime at Sarwaran Police Station, with valuable support and initiative from Lieutenant Bakhtiar Fakhr Goran. Dr. Bakr Qadir, a lecturer in the Department of Law at Knowledge University and a forensic investigator at Sarwaran Police Station, is also playing a key role in this course. This collaboration offers students an opportunity to engage directly with the practical aspects of criminal investigation, enriching their academic learning with real-world experience. The course is expected to equip students with essential skills and insights into the workings of law enforcement and forensic investigation.

At the conclusion of the course, Knowledge University expressed its gratitude to the trainers and announced plans to organize a hypothetical crime theatre on the university campus. This event will be open to all law students, providing an interactive platform for further exploration of the concepts learned during the training. This initiative reflects Knowledge University's dedication to providing its students with comprehensive education that bridges the gap between theory and practice.
