Successful Completion of Phlebotomy and Injection Training Course for College of Science Undergraduates

The College of Science recently concluded a highly successful 4-week training course on "Phlebotomy, IM, IV, SC Injections & Cannula Placement," designed specifically for undergraduate students. The course was marked by an enthusiastic participation from students eager to gain practical skills in medical procedures. The training, led by Mr. Ismail Nabi, a seasoned Medical Trainer from ZOHS Environmental Organization for Health and Service, provided the participants with hands-on experience in essential medical techniques. The course covered a range of topics, including phlebotomy, intramuscular (IM) injections, intravenous (IV) injections, subcutaneous (SC) injections, and cannula placement, equipping the students with valuable skills relevant to their future careers in the medical field.
In a closing ceremony, which was graced by the presence of Dr. Rizgar Farooq, Dean of the College of Science, Mr. Ismail Nabi was honored with a Shield of Honor in recognition of his dedication and expert instruction throughout the course. Additionally, certificates of participation were awarded to all the students who completed the training, acknowledging their commitment and newly acquired competencies. This course is part of the College of Science's ongoing efforts to provide its students with practical learning opportunities, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
