Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences Launches Phlebotomy & Cannula Placement Training Course

The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Sciences, Dr. Rzgar Farooq, has inaugurated an extensive training course entitled "Phlebotomy, IM, IV, SC Injections & Cannula Placement." The course, which spans four weeks, commenced on July 14, 2024, and is being instructed by Mr. Ismaeil. The inauguration event was graced by the presence of the President of Knowledge University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dzeiy, alongside many enthusiastic students eager to enhance their practical skills in medical laboratory techniques.
This training course is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and knowledge in crucial areas of medical procedures, including phlebotomy, intramuscular (IM) injections, intravenous (IV) injections, subcutaneous (SC) injections, and cannula placement.
