Violence against women and its effects on society open panel

On Wednesday, 1/12/2021 at 10 a.m, under the supervision of the Board of Trustees and President of Knowledge University (Assist. Prof. Dr. Kayhan Zrar Ghafoor), in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs-KRG and the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan, in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and scientific research  and the Head of the Union of Scholars, Dr. Abdullah Waisi and religious men, students, and university lecturers in the new building conference hall, Knowledge University organized an open panel for a number of religious, social law, and family reconciliation experts entitled: Violence against women and its effects on society, with the participation of the following dears:

1. Dr. Chnar Saad Abdullah, head of the Center for Studies and Research of the Academy (PDK)

(Frames and types of violence, as well as the history of violence and the role of institutions). 

2.Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Barzinji, director of research, Guidance, and the idea of the Holy Quran

(View of islams holy religion and ways to resolve violence against women)

3. Retired Judge Gailan Said Ahmad, Vice President of the Erbil Court of Appeal / former 

(analyzing legal concepts and the role of law in this regard)

4. Mohammad Sabr Gomashini, social researcher and family reconciliation counselor (showing family counselor treatment)

5. Nabaz Ismail Kamal, spokesman for the Ministry of Endowments

The panel first began with the speech of The President of Knowledge University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kayhan Zrar Ghafoor, and then the head of the Union of Scholars, Dr. Abdullah Waisi, delivered a speech on behalf of the Ministry of Endowments, Religious Affairs and the Union of Scholars, and then the topic was warmly discussed by the audience, and the panel became more enriched with questions, answers, and exchange of opinions.
