Erbil Polytechnic University and Knowledge University Discuss Joint Scientific Conference and Renewal of Cooperation Agreement

On Monday, October 19, 2026, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dizayee, President of Knowledge University, accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Aziz, Director of Relations; Dr. Saman Hamad Amin, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics; and Dr. Hamed Karim Gardi, Head of the Law Department, visited Erbil Polytechnic University.

Prof. Dr. Idris Mohammed Taher, President of Erbil Polytechnic University; Dr. Botan Haddad, Assistant President of the University; and Dr. Abdullah Yasin, Director of Relations at Erbil Polytechnic University, welcomed the delegation from Knowledge University.

The visit aimed to discuss two important topics.

The first was the organization of a joint scientific conference between Erbil Polytechnic University, Knowledge University and Bayan University in May 2027. The conference will cover topics related to administration, economics, and law.

The second topic was the renewal and extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Erbil Polytechnic University and Knowledge University for a further five years, until 2031.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided to establish a joint committee to organize and coordinate preparations for the conference. Meanwhile, the presidents of both universities exchanged commemorative gifts as a gesture of respect and appreciation.
