Knowledge University Prepares to Establish a Chinese Language Department

Under the supervision of Mr. Dashti Haji Najmaddin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Knowledge University, Dr. Bakhan Azad Abdulrahman was received as a representative of Mr. Mashkhal Kalosi.

During the meeting, the possibility of establishing a Chinese Language Department at Knowledge University was discussed. Mr. Mashkhal, the owner of Nouri Hikma Company, headquartered in Baghdad, will support Knowledge University in this initiative. The proposed department aims to serve as a bridge between Knowledge University and the Chinese government, strengthening academic cooperation and bringing the two sides closer together.

According to the discussions, graduates of the Chinese Language Department would have access to greater employment opportunities in the future. In addition, the Chinese government is expected to provide master’s and doctoral scholarship opportunities at Chinese universities for top-performing students.

The meeting also discussed establishing a partnership between Knowledge University and a university in China to develop the department’s academic curriculum, provide qualified teaching staff, and ensure the necessary educational resources and facilities for students.

Mr. Dashti Haji Najmaddin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Knowledge University, welcomed the proposal and expressed his positive view of the initiative. Work on developing the proposal is expected to begin in the near future.
