College of Law at KNU Begins Graduation Research Discussions for Final-Year Students
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the College of Law at Knowledge University (KNU) commenced the formal discussion sessions for the graduation research projects of its fifth-stage students. This academic milestone represents the culmination of five years of rigorous legal study, showcasing the students' intellectual maturity and readiness to enter the legal profession.
During the initial sessions, 15 students presented and defended five distinct research papers before specialized examination committees. The research covered a broad spectrum of critical legal issues, reflecting the students' commitment to protecting rights and establishing justice within society. The discussed titles included:
- Judicial Freedom in Criminal Decision-Making
- The Imprisonment of the Debtor and its Feasibility in the Creditor Obtaining Their Debt
- Limiting the Crime of Homicide in the Kurdistan Region
- Legislation as a Source of Law
- The Role of the International Criminal Court in Protecting Minorities
The process is ongoing as the college continues to evaluate the innovative legal scholarship of its upcoming graduates. We congratulate our students on their high academic standards and wish them a distinguished career in the legal field.
ڕۆژی شەممە، ڕێکەوتی ٢٥ی نیسانی ٢٠٢٦، کۆلێژی یاسا لە زانکۆی نۆڵج پرۆسەی تاوتوێکردنی توێژینەوەی دەرچوونی فێرخوازانی قۆناغی پێنجەمی بەشی یاسا دەستپێکرد. لەم قۆناغەدا، ١٥ فێرخواز پێنج توێژینەوەی زانستییان لەبەردەم لیژنەی پسپۆڕ بەرگری لێکرد، کە بابەتەکانیان تیشکی خستبووە سەر پرسە یاساییە گرنگەکانی وەک:
١- ئازادی دادوەری تاوانکاری لە بڕیاردان
. ٢- حبس المدین وجدواه فی حصول الدائن علی دینه.
٣- سنووردارکردنی تاوانی کوشتن لە هەرێمی کوردستان.
٤- التشریع کمصدر قانون.
٥- دور المحکمة الجنائیة الدولیة فی حمایة الاقلیات.
ئەم پڕۆژانە ئاستی بەرزی پێگەیشتنی زانستی و یاسایی فێرخوازانی نۆڵج نیشان دەدەن و ئامادەیی تەواوی ئەوان دەسەلمێنن بۆ چوونە ناو کایەی پیشەیی و چەسپاندنی دادپەروەری لە کۆمەڵگەدا. پیرۆزبایی لە سەرجەم فێرخوازان دەکەین و هیوای سەرکەوتنیان بۆ دەخوازین.
