College of Nursing Organizes Workshop on World AIDS Day at Knowledge University

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

As part of Knowledge University’s continued observance of international awareness days, and with the aim of increasing public awareness about HIV/AIDS, its causes, and prevention methods, the College of Nursing organized a specialized workshop at the university. The workshop was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzayee, President of Knowledge University, and was titled: “World AIDS Day: Awareness and Prevention.”

The session was presented by Mr. Adnan Rashid Aziz and Dr. Honar Othman Ismail, who provided informative discussions on HIV/AIDS, focusing on awareness, preventive measures, and the role of healthcare professionals in education and early intervention.
