Workshop at Knowledge University Marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

On November 25, 2025, in the presence of  the President of Knowledge University (Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dezayee) the College of Law at Knowledge University, in cooperation with the Directorate of Domestic Violence in Erbil, organized a specialized workshop at the university to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The workshop focused on discussing domestic violence from a legal perspective, highlighting its impacts, legal procedures, protection mechanisms, and the importance of strengthening community awareness to reduce violence against women.

At the end of the event, a competition was held between two groups of Law Department students, providing an interactive and educational activity that encouraged students to apply their legal knowledge effectively.
