College of Pharmacy Celebrates World Pharmacists Day

The College of Pharmacy at Knowledge University commemorated World Pharmacists Day with a series of diverse academic and cultural activities. The event was held with the presence of Mr. Dashti Haji Najmaddin, Head of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzayee, President of Knowledge University, alongside administrative staff, academic faculty, and students.

As part of the celebration, the college organized a special seminar delivered by Dr. Amir Chalabi, former head of the Kurdistan Pharmacists Syndicate. His lecture highlighted the pivotal role of pharmacists in advancing healthcare and strengthening the medical sector in the Kurdistan Region.

The activities also included artistic and scientific exhibitions, in addition to an award ceremony, all aimed at honoring the contributions of pharmacists and encouraging students to further excel in the field of pharmacy. This event reflects the commitment of Knowledge University’s College of Pharmacy to academic excellence, community engagement, and recognition of the vital role pharmacists play in improving public health.
