Pharmacy Student Completes Summer Internship in Tunisia

Monastir, Tunisia

Zahraa Sarkawt Faizullah, a student from the College of Pharmacy, successfully completed a month-long summer internship in Monastir, Tunisia. The program which was arranged by KPSA (Kurdistan Pharmacy Students Association) offered her the opportunity to work in both a community pharmacy and the Toxicology Laboratory at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital.

During her internship, Zahraa gained hands-on experience in pharmaceutical preparation and observed advanced toxicology practices, which she described as an “eye-opening and inspiring experience.” She expressed her gratitude to her mentors for their guidance and support, noting that the training not only expanded her academic knowledge but also enriched her practical skills in the field of pharmacy.
