Knowledge University Welcomes UNICEF Expert to Discuss Future Collaboration

On Monday, September 1st, 2025, Knowledge University hosted a delegation in a meeting aimed at strengthening academic and developmental cooperation. The reception was led by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzayi, President of Knowledge University, accompanied by Dr. Renas Yaqoob, Member of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Talib Khalil Ibrahim, Vice President of the University. They were joined by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aziz Saeed, Director of Public Relations, and Dr. Rebwar Nasser, faculty member at the College of Engineering.

The University leadership welcomed Mr. Jay Matta, a Hydrology Specialist at UNICEF, and Mr. Mohammed, Head of Operations at UNICEF Erbil Office. Discussions focused on potential financial and academic collaborations with UNICEF, particularly enabling faculty members of Knowledge University to engage in service-oriented projects through the Directorate of Water Resources in Erbil.

During the meeting, the visiting delegation presented a number of proposals to the University with the purpose of conducting joint studies and fostering long-term partnerships. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to advancing cooperation that would contribute to the region’s sustainable development. At the conclusion of the gathering, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzayi, President of Knowledge University, presented the official university logo to the delegation as a token of appreciation and goodwill.

لە کۆبوونەوەکەدا باسی هاوکاری دارایی لە یونیسێف کرا تاكو مامۆستایانی زانکۆی نۆڵج پڕۆژە خزمەتگوزاریەکانیان لە ڕێگەی بەڕێوەبەرایەتی سەرچاوەکانی ئاوی هەولێر ئەنجام بدەن. به‌خۆشحاڵییه‌وه‌ وه‌فده‌كه‌ش كۆمه‌ڵێك داواكارییان پێشكه‌شی زانكۆی نۆڵج كرد به‌مه‌به‌ستی وه‌رگرتن و دیراسەكردنی تاوه‌كو بتوانن به‌ باشترین شێوه‌ هاوكارمان بن.
