Pharmacy College Students Lead Final Day of 2025 Anti-Tobacco Campaign

as part of their ongoing academic and extracurricular engagement, students from the College of Pharmacy participated in organizing the final day of the 2025 Anti-Tobacco Project, in response to an invitation by the Rudaw Media Network - Health Disk. The annual campaign aims to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking cigarettes and hookah, and to encourage a tobacco-free lifestyle among the community. The project focuses on educating the public about the harmful physical and psychological effects of tobacco use, especially among youth.

So far, the campaign has proven successful, with a significant number of individuals influenced to quit smoking through various outreach initiatives led by pharmacy students. Their active role in supervising and conducting the closing day's activities highlights their commitment to public health and preventive education.
