A delegation from Knowledge University, led by its President, Professor Dr. Ahmad Anwar Dzeyi, joined by representatives from Al-Kitab, Al-Qalam, and Al-Nukhba Universities, visited Al-Hussein Bin Talal University in Ma'an, Jordan, to foster stronger academic collaboration and exchange. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the President of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University and the University Council, setting a cordial tone for discussions focused on education and research partnership.
During the visit, Professor Dr. Ahmed Dzeyi shared insights into the mission, history, and structure of Knowledge University, emphasizing its unique status as the only university in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq designed with a modern, environmentally conscious campus. He highlighted the institution's commitment to providing a top-tier educational environment, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories, to support a comprehensive academic experience.
He further elaborated on the university's significant initiatives for the upcoming academic year, noting that a detailed plan has been developed to welcome students and their families, along with the introduction of new technical departments in science, engineering, and medicine. These expansions aim to create a pathway for students pursuing advanced studies and careers in these critical fields.
The meeting also saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the universities, pledging to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the scientific fields. This agreement includes provisions for nursing students and medical technical department trainees to gain practical experience on the latest medical equipment, advancing their hands-on skills.
Concluding the visit, the universities exchanged shields as a symbol of mutual respect and collaboration, along with commemorative gifts that mark the beginning of what is hoped to be a fruitful partnership.
