برنامج علوم المختبرات الطبية الجامعي هو برنامج بكالوريوس العلوم لمدة أربع سنوات (8 فصول دراسية). تسمح السنة الرابعة بدراسة مواضيع متقدمة في مشروع بحثي متعمق. مجموع المواد الذي يتم تدريسها 48 مع مشروع السنة النهائية.
يركز البرنامج على إنشاء رابط بين المواد النظرية والتطبيقية. يقوم قسم علوم المختبرات الطبية بدورات أساسية لتعريفك بمجموعة من المواد والمهارات الأساسية الضرورية لدرجة الماجستير في الكيمياء الحيوية، وعلم المناعة، وعلم الأحياء المجهري، والجزيئات، وإدارة المختبرات، ومراقبة الجودة، والتحقق من صحة الطريقة.
The desire of the DMLS is to be among the local and regional models in medical laboratory education and research. Also, DMLS will develop and implement a curriculum of international standards, establish modern state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, congregate faculty experts from around the globe, adhere to national and international health and safety standards, seek international accreditation, and address public health problems of highest relevance to the region and the country.
DMLS vision is:
• to provide the ability to comprehend, apply and evaluate information to the role of a medical laboratory science.
• the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, physicians and other health professionals, in a manner consistent with employer standards.
• to balance the attitudes consistent with professionalism concern for high quality health care, potential management and leadership roles.
• to be educating resourceful, adaptable, and well-prepared individuals to serve and lead the medical laboratory sciences profession, contributing to the body of knowledge for concerned fields.
The Department of Medical Laboratory Science (DMLS) at Knowledge University strives to build students as competent Medical Laboratory Science professionals, and serve as the workforce to solve the health issues of the local and regional community. Students are provided with an In curriculum which addresses and meets the demands of the changing technology and practice in the profession. Graduates are often involved in administrative, educational, supervisory or other leadership roles in the employment setting, and/or leadership positions in organisations. Therefore, students are empowered to become full participants in the university community through excellent instruction in language, cultural awareness, and study skills.
In addition, our faculty is committed to prepare capable Medical Laboratory Technicians with the necessary skills, attitudes, and professional integrity to become contributing professionals in the health care community.
The world of medical experts is not limited to doctors and nurses; there is a huge system of services and an entire workers of professionals who work in the background and without whom the system can fall apart. Medical laboratory technology is one such area that needs to be managed well to keep the system going. Professionals in this field need to be highly responsible because mix-ups and wrong results can be fatal for the patient. They also need to be hardworking given the pressure on healthcare providers, both public and private Medical laboratory scientists are in high demand, and government economists expect job growth for medical scientists, to be much faster than the average for all careers. The graduated students will contact medical laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Also known as: Hospital scientist or medical scientific officer.
