Scientific Visit of Fourth-Year Law Students to the Erbil Court of Appeal

On 11/2/2026, fourth-year students of the College of Law at Knowledge University, within the framework of their academic activities in the subject of (Principles of Criminal Trial Law), conducted a scientific visit accompanied by their instructors from the College of Law (Ms. Hallala Sleman Rahman and Mr. Hamd Karim Hamd) to the Presidency of the Court of Appeal of the Erbil Region.

This visit was organized to familiarize students with the practical aspects and real-world application of their legal studies, and to strengthen their connection with professional and judicial life.

During the visit, the students were warmly welcomed by Judge Nader Abdulaziz Harki, Head of Erbil Criminal Court/1, and Judge Zrar Mahmoud Muradkhan, Head of Erbil Criminal Court/3. They were also received by Judge Behzad and Judge Omed from the Misdemeanor Court, and Judge Kenar from the Court of First Instance.

Additionally, Legal Advisor Lawyer Iyad Ismail Kakeyi, Head of the Erbil Branch of the Kurdistan Lawyers Syndicate, and Legal Advisor Lawyer Khalil Ibrahim Khalid, Head of the Shaqlawa Bar Chamber, participated and provided practical insights regarding the work of courts and the legal profession.

The students observed several judicial procedures in practice and visited a number of different courts, including criminal, misdemeanor, commercial, personal status, and first instance courts.

At the conclusion of the visit, the College of Law expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the judges and lawyers for their cooperation and valuable academic guidance.

لە ڕۆژی ١١ / ٢ / ٢٠٢٦ دا، قوتابیانی قۆناغی چوارەمی کۆلێژی یاسای زانکۆی نۆڵج، لە چوارچێوەی چالاکییە زانستییەکاندا، لە بابەتی (یاسای بنەماکانی دادگایی کردنی سزایی)  سەردانێکی زانستیان ئەنجامدا بەیاوەری مامۆستایانی کۆلێژی یاسا (م. هڵاڵە سلێمان رحمان و م. حمد کریم حمد ) بۆ سەرۆکایەتی دادگای تێهەڵچونەوەی ناوچەی هەولێر. ئەم سەردانە بۆ ئەوە ڕێکخرا بوو کە قوتابیان بە لایەنی کرداری و کارپێکردنی خوێندنەکانی یاسا ئاشنابکرێن و پەیوەندییان بە ژیانی کار و دادگایی زیاتر بێت.

لە کاتی سەردانەکەدا، پشوازییەکی گەرم لە قوتابیان کرا لەلایەن بەڕێز دادوەر/ نادر عبدالعزيز هەركى - سەرۆکی دادگای تاوانی هەولێر/١ و بەڕێز دادوەر / زرار محمود مرادخان - سەرۆکی دادگای تاوانی هەولێر/٣. هەروەها هەریەک لە بەڕێزان دادوەر/ بەهزاد و دادوەر/ ئومێد لە دادگای کەتن و بەڕێز دادوەر/  کەنار  لە دادگای بەرایی. هەروەها بەڕێز پارێزەری ڕاوێژکار ایاد اسماعیل کاکەیی - سەرۆکی لقی هەولێری سەندیکای پارێزەرانی کوردستان و بەڕێز پارێزەری ڕاوێژکار خليل ابراهيم خالد - سەرۆکی ژووری پارێزەرانی شەقلاوە، بەشداربوون و زانیارییە کردارییەکانیان لەبارەی کاری دادگا و پارێزەری گەیاند.

قوتابیان بە شێوەی کرداری چەندین پڕۆسەی دادگاییان بینی و سەردانی ژمارەیەک دادگای جۆراوجۆریان کرد، وەک تاوان، کەتن، بازرگانی، باری کەسی و بەرایی. لە کۆتاییدا، سوپاس و پێزانینی کۆلێژی یاسا پێشکەش بە دادوەران و پارێزەران کرا بۆ هاوکاری و ڕێنماییە زانستییەکانیان.
