Historical Analysis of Kurdish Literary Criticism in the South

Abstract
Abstract\r\nLiterary criticism is a branch of literature. Although several stages and times have been\r\nexperienced, criticism at each stage and time is predominantly accompanied by literary text. A\r\ncrucial role is indicated by the development of literary texts. It may be claimed that several\r\ntheories have emerged for the development, and the output of each theory was to correct the\r\nerrors of the previous theories and focus on their errors; hence, there has been a vivid change\r\nin the dominance of literary criticism since then.\r\nIn this study, we attempt to reveal the history of literary criticism in the South according to\r\nthe Soran and Badinan areas. We will also discuss the beginning of literary criticism in the\r\nSouth up to (2003). The aim of the current study is that various products in Kurdish literature\r\ncan be critically studied.\r\nLiterary criticism in the South is certainly more advanced than in the other parts since Kurds\r\nin Iraq have more freedom to write various papers in Kurdish than in other parts of the world.\r\nIt may also be claimed that literary criticism in the South has its roots in Sorani Kurdish\r\nliterature, and the first poet to write about literary criticism was Nali.\r\nKeywords: Criticism, Literary Criticism, Kurdish literature, History of Kurdish Literary\r\nCriticism
