Knowledge University Celebrates Flag Day with Pride and Unity

Knowledge University proudly celebrated Flag Day today in a ceremony that reflected patriotism and unity. The event was held in the presence of the Board of Trustees, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Anwar Dzeyi, Deans, lecturers, and students. The program began with the solemn and powerful performance of the national anthem, "Ay Raqib", as attendees gathered to honor the occasion. Following this, the Kurdistan flag was raised high, symbolizing pride, resilience, and the rich cultural heritage of the Kurdish people.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Anwar Dzeyi emphasized the importance of Flag Day as a reminder of the sacrifices and struggles that have shaped the region. He also highlighted the role of education in fostering unity, national identity, and the values of peace among future generations. The ceremony continued with a speech by the Students Union, who expressed their commitment to preserving the values of the Kurdistan Region and celebrating its cultural identity. The students’ heartfelt words were followed by readings of several national poems that resonated with themes of hope, resilience, and patriotism, delivered passionately by talented students.

The event concluded with a collective celebration that underscored the unity and dedication of Knowledge University’s community toward honoring their heritage.
