Consul General of India in Erbil Visits Knowledge University to Strengthen Academic Cooperation and Launch India Corner

Today, Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at 11:00 a.m., Mr. Brijesh Kumar, Consul General of India in Erbil, accompanied by Mr. Hitesh Mehra, Vice Consul, visited Knowledge University to inaugurate the India Corner in the late Rekaut Haji Najmaddin Library.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Dashti Haji Najmaddin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dzaee, President of Knowledge University. During the visit, both sides held extensive discussions on strengthening academic cooperation between Knowledge University and Indian universities.

The discussions focused on establishing academic partnerships, promoting student and faculty exchange programs, and creating opportunities for Knowledge University staff to participate in scholarship programs offered by the Government of India. Both parties emphasized the importance of expanding international academic collaboration and fostering stronger educational and cultural ties between Knowledge University and higher education institutions in India.

As part of the initiative, the India Corner was officially launched within the late Rekaot Haji Najmaddin Library, providing students and researchers with access to resources that promote knowledge and understanding of India’s rich educational and cultural heritage.

In the near future, the Vice Consul of India will visit Knowledge University to deliver a seminar for students and staff members on scholarship opportunities available in India, further supporting academic exchange and international engagement.

ئەمڕۆ سێشەممە ٢٣ی ٦ی ٢٠٢٦، کاتژمێر ١١ی پێشنیوەڕۆ، بەڕێز کۆنسوڵی گشتیی هیندستان لەگەڵ یاریدەدەریی کۆنسوڵی گشتیی هیندستان سەردانی زانکۆی نۆڵج-یان کرد، بە مەبەستی کردنەوەی گۆشەی هیندستان لەناو کتێبخانەی خوالێخۆشبوو ‘ڕێکەوت حاجی نەجمەدین’. لە کاتی سەردانیکردنیان، بەڕێز دەشتی حاجی نەجمەدین، سەرۆکی دەستەی ئەمینداران و دکتۆر ئەحمەد ئەنوەر دزەیی سەرۆکی زانکۆ پێشوازییان لێکردن و بە تێر و تەسەلی باسی پەیوەندییەکانی زانکۆی نۆڵج و  لەگەڵ زانکۆکانی وڵاتی هیندستان کرا، بە مەبەستی بەستنی پەیوەندی ئەکادیمی لەگەڵ زانکۆکانی هیندستان و ئاڵوگۆڕکردنی فێرخوازان و مامۆستایان و بەشداریکردنی فەرمانبەرانی زانکۆی نۆڵج لە سکۆلەرشیپەکانی وڵاتی هیندستان کە بڵاودەکرێتەوە.

لە ئایندەیەکی نزیکیشدا جێگری کۆنسوڵی هیندستان سەردانی زانکۆی نۆڵج دەکات، سیمینارێک پێشکەش دەکات بۆ هەموو فێرخوازان و فەرمانبەرانی زانکۆ دەربارەی سکۆلەرشیپەکانی وڵاتی هیندستان.
