College of Engineering Launches Specialized Training on Solar System Installation

The College of Engineering at Knowledge University has announced the launch of a professional training course titled “Design and Installation of Solar Energy Systems”, led by the internationally certified instructor Eng. Mawlood Salih Hamad.
The course will run for five days starting on September 6, 2025, with three hours of training per day. The participation fee is $150, and the program is open to everyone. A special 20% discount will be offered to Knowledge University graduates and students.
Designed with both theoretical and practical components, the training will cover:
- Fundamentals of solar energy and renewable sources.
- Basics of electricity and power calculations.
- Types of solar systems (On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid).
- Safety measures in solar system installation.
- Step-by-step system design, component selection, and sizing.
- Installation and operation procedures.
- A field visit to a solar project site for hands-on experience.
The course specifically targets engineers, technical institute graduates, technicians, and anyone interested in building a career in the solar energy field. Upon completion, participants will receive an official certificate of participation.
This initiative reflects Knowledge University’s commitment to advancing renewable energy education and equipping participants with the practical skills needed in today’s growing solar industry.

لەم کۆرسەدا ئەم بابەتانە فێردەبیت تەنها لە ماوەی 6 ڕۆژی تیۆری و کرداری :-
1.تێگەیشتن لە ووزە نوێ بووەکان و سەرچاوەی وزەی خۆر.
2.بنەما سەرەکی و بنچینەییەکانی کارەبا لە ئەژمارکردنی وات و ئەمپێر و ڤۆڵتیە.
3.ناسین و شارەزابوونی جۆرەکانی سیستەمی ووزەی خۆر (On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid) و پێکهاتەکانیان
4.گرینگی دان بە رێکارەکانی سەلامەتی و تەندروستی پیشەیی لە دامەزراندنی سیستەمی ووزەی خۆر.
5.هەنگاوەکانی دیزاینکردنی
سیستەمی (On-Grid, Off-Grid) و دیاریکردن و هەڵبژاردنی گشت پێکهاتەکانی لە ژمارە و قەبارەی تەختەی خۆر و باتری و ئینڤێرتەر و کێبڵ و سرکێت بەشێوەیەکی ئەندازەیی وورد.
6.هەنگاوەکان و چۆنییەتی دامەزراندن و بەکارخستنی سیستەمی وزەی خۆر
7.سەردانی مەیدانی بۆ سەر پڕۆژەی ووزەی خۆر و شیکردنەوەی بەشەکانی سیستەمەکە.
