From Theory to Living Space
The College of Engineering – Department of Interior Design Engineering at Knowledge University organized a scientific seminar entitled “From Theory to Living Space,” presented by Architect Soma Adil Ali.
During the seminar, the importance of transforming theoretical knowledge and design principles into practical applications in interior design was discussed. The seminar also highlighted how design concepts can be developed into functional and comfortable living spaces by considering users’ needs, spatial characteristics, and the relationship between people and their surrounding environment.
The seminar further emphasized the importance of achieving a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and comfort in the design of interior spaces, while demonstrating how academic knowledge can be effectively applied in practical projects and real-life design contexts.
The seminar aimed to strengthen students’ scientific and practical knowledge, broaden their understanding of the design process, and enhance the connection between theoretical study and practical implementation in the field of Interior Design Engineering.
