Knowledge University Participated in a Workshop on the Evaluation and Development of Scientific Journals in the Kurdistan Region

Under the supervision and in the presence of Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a workshop entitled “Evaluation and Development of Scientific Journals in the Kurdistan Region” was held with the participation of senior officials from the Ministry and the assistants of the presidents of public and private universities for scientific affairs.

As part of the participation of universities in the Kurdistan Region, and based on the recommendation of the President of Knowledge University, Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Talib Khalil Ibrahim, together with the team of Knowledge University’s journal, Journal of Pharmacy and Applied Health Sciences, participated as representatives of the university.

In his speech, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, highlighted the importance of scientific journals and stated that six scientific journals from universities in Kurdistan have been registered among international journals, which is a source of pride for the Kurdistan Region. He also called on universities to enhance their level of international credibility and openness to the global scientific community.

Dr. Jala Saeed Khattat, Director General of the Directorate of Research and Development, also noted that 46 scientific journals from universities in the Kurdistan Region have been evaluated, including 23 scientific journals and 23 humanities journals.

At the end of the workshop, several scientific panels and discussions were held regarding the necessity of developing scientific journals and enhancing their international credibility.

Knowledge University reaffirms its commitment to continuously supporting scientific research and the development of scientific journals in order to advance the academic level in the Kurdistan Region and internationally.

بەچاودێری و ئامادەبوونی د.ئارام محمد قادر وەزیری خوێندنی باڵاو توێژینەوەی زانستی، وۆرکشۆپێک بە ناونیشانی «هەڵسەنگاندن و پەرەپێدانی گۆڤارە زانستییەکان لە هەرێمی کوردستان» بە ئامادەبوونی بەرپرسانی باڵای وەزارەت و یاردیدەدەری سەرۆکی زانکۆ حکومی و تایبەتەکان بۆ کارووباری زانستی بەڕێوەچوو.
لە چوارچێوەی بەشداری زانکۆکانی هەرێم، لەسەر راسپاردەی سەرۆکی زانکۆی نۆڵج بەڕێز د. ئەحمەد ئەنوەر دزەیی، یاریدەدەری سەرۆکی زانکۆ بۆ کاروباری زانستی بەڕێز (پ.د.طالب خلیل ابراهیم) لەگەڵ تیمی گۆڤاری زانکۆی نۆڵج (Journal of Pharmacy and Applied Health Sciences) بە نوێنەرایەتی زانکۆکە بەشدارییان کرد.
وەزیری خوێندنی باڵاو توێژینەوەی زانستی د. ئارام محەمەد قادر لە وتارێکیدا ئاماژەی بە گرنگی گۆڤارە زانستییەکان کرد و ڕایگەیاند کە شەش گۆڤاری زانستی لە زانکۆکانی کوردستان توانیویانە لە نێو گۆڤارە نێودەوڵەتییەکان تۆماربکرێن، کە ئەمە مایەی شانازییە بۆ هەرێمی کوردستان. هەروەها داوای لە زانکۆکان کرد بۆ زیادکردنی ئاستی باوەڕپێکراوی نێودەوڵەتی و کراوەیی زیاتر بۆ دنیای زانستی.
لە لایەن بەڕێوەبەری گشتی فەرمانگەی توێژینەوە و پەرەپێدان د. ژاڵە سەعید خەتاتیش ئاماژە کرا کە 46 گۆڤاری زانستی لە زانکۆکانی هەرێم هەڵسەنگاندنیان بۆ کراوە، لەوانە 23 گۆڤار زانستی و 23 گۆڤار مرۆڤایەتی.
لە کۆتایی وۆرکشۆپەکەدا چەند پانێڵ و گفتوگۆی زانستی بەڕێوەچوو سەبارەت بە پێویستی پەرەپێدانی گۆڤارە زانستییەکان و زیادکردنی ئاستی باوەڕپێکراوی نێودەوڵەتییان.
زانکۆی نۆڵج جەخت دەکاتەوە کە بەردەوام دەبێت لە پاڵپشتی توێژینەوەی زانستی و گەشەپێدانی گۆڤارە زانستییەکان بۆ بەرەوە پێشبردنی ئاستی زانستی لە هەرێمی کوردستان و لە ئاستی نێودەوڵەتی.
