College of Science Hosts Fourth Health and Folklore Festival to Support Nanakali Hospital

The College of Science at Knowledge University celebrated its fourth Health and Folklore Festival, an event dedicated to promoting health awareness and cultural appreciation. Held in the presence of Knowledge University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzeyi, and under the guidance of Dr. Rizgar Farooq, Dean of the College of Science, the festival featured an array of health-related activities and educational sessions.
Numerous local institutions participated, including laboratories, pharmacies, medical companies, eye centers, and dental centers, offering valuable services and demonstrations. Students from the College of Science organized a diabetes awareness campaign, educating attendees on the importance of diabetes prevention and management as part of the event’s broader health-focused mission. All proceeds from the festival will be donated to Nanakali Hospital, emphasizing Knowledge University’s commitment to community service and support for healthcare. The festival was a unique blend of health promotion, cultural heritage, and philanthropy, bringing together students, faculty, and the local community for a meaningful cause.
