Medical Laboratory Sciences Department Hosts International Workshop on Antimicrobial Residues in Food

In a collaborative effort to address critical issues surrounding food safety, the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at Knowledge University hosted a successful international workshop today on "Antimicrobial Residues in Food." The event took place at the conference hall of the university's main building and saw the participation of esteemed guests, including Mr. Dashti Haji Najmaddin, the Head of the Board of Trustees, Deans, Head of the Department, and numerous lecturers.
The workshop aimed to shed light on the pressing concerns related to antimicrobial residues in food and featured prominent speakers, including Prof. Dr. Dhary Alewy Al-Mashhadany and M. Alwan Qader, lecturers at Knowledge University. The international perspective was enriched by the inclusion of Prof. Dr. Imad Ibrahim AlSultan from the International Medical School, Management and Science University in Malaysia, and Rsha N. Aziz from the Department of Public Health, College of Veterinary Medicine at Thamar University in Dhamar, Yemen. The engaging discussions and presentations delved into the latest research findings, methodologies, and global best practices related to the detection and management of antimicrobial residues in food products. The workshop provided a platform for knowledge exchange and networking among professionals and academics in the field.
