We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate is a sharp troubleshooter who prioritizes safety, works well independently, and can interpret intricate blueprints with ease.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and National Electrical Code (NEC) specifications.
Lead and mentor apprentice electricians on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as an electrician (commercial or industrial preferred).
Education/Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, proficiency with hand/power tools, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
