Panel on Strength and Resilience of People with Disabilities Held at Knowledge University

As part of the ongoing activities of the College of Engineering, Knowledge University hosted a panel discussion on the strength and resilience of people with disabilities in coordination with Davin Organization for Development and Humanitarian Aid. The event took place in the university's conference hall and brought together academic leaders, experts, and advocates for disability inclusion.
The panel opened with a handicrafts exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of people with disabilities. Following the exhibition, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Dzeyi, President of Knowledge University, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the crucial role of individuals with disabilities in society. Prof. Dr. Talib Khalil, Vice President of the University, along with faculty members, lecturers, and representatives from organizations advocating for disability rights, were also in attendance.

Dr. Chnar Saad Abdullah, Head of the Education Studies Department, who discussed the importance of education in empowering people with disabilities.
Dr. Dalia Dashti Dzeyi, a psychologist, who emphasized mental resilience and psychological support for disabled individuals.
Dr. Dilêr Mohammed, a legal advisor, who spoke on legal frameworks and rights that enable individuals with disabilities to thrive.
Key discussions centered around recognizing the talents of people with disabilities, creating opportunities for them to sell handicrafts as a source of income, and fostering greater societal inclusion and support.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where prizes and honors were distributed to panel participants in recognition of their contributions.
