KNU Medical Laboratory Science Department Conducts Humanitarian Visit to Elderly Care Home

The Department of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) within the College of Science at Knowledge University recently organized a humanitarian field visit to the Elderly Care Home. Supervised by Ms. Shaima Mala Farooq, Head of the MLS Department, and Ms. Roshna Najmuddin, the visit aimed to provide both essential healthcare services and emotional support to the residents.

During the visit, the team provided necessary medical supplies and conducted general blood screenings for the elderly, ensuring professional health monitoring in a comfortable environment. The initiative was distinguished by a beautiful cultural touch; music instructor Mr. Hemin Mohammed Abdullah performed a selection of traditional Kurdish songs and melodies. This musical contribution created a warm, nostalgic, and joyful atmosphere that deeply resonated with the residents.
