Workshop on GIS for City Planning and Development

Within the framework of academic and practical activities, and according to a memorandum of understanding, the College of Engineering – Departments of Petroleum and Environmental Engineering – in coordination with the Erbil Municipality, and with the participation of distinguished figures including Deshti Haji Najmuddin (Head of Security Department), P.D. Ahmed Dzeiyi (President of Knowledge University), Dr. Agrin Abdullah and Dr. Hakim Walian (Ministry of Water Resources and Settlement), Dr. Ali Rashid (Head of Erbil Governorate Council), Engineer Karzan Abdulhadi (Mayor of Erbil), academic and administrative staff, students, and both local and international guests, organized a workshop titled "From Data to Decision-Making: GIS for City Planning and Development."

Under the supervision of P.Y.D. Marwan Aziz (College Director of Engineering), and with support from P.Y.D. Delin Sherafani (Instructor at Salahaddin University) and P.Y.D. Honer Al-Khayat (Head of Environmental Monitoring at Salahaddin University Research Center), two useful seminars on the topic were conducted.

تێیدا له‌ژێر چاودێری (پ.ی.د. مه‌روان عه‌زیز - ڕاگری كۆلێژی ئه‌ندازیاری)، هه‌ریه‌كه‌ له‌ به‌ڕێزان (پ.ی.د.دلین شه‌ره‌فانی - مامۆستا له‌ كۆلێژی ئه‌ندازیاری زانكۆی صلاحددین) و (پ.ی.د. هونه‌ر الخیاط - به‌رپرسی به‌شی چاودێری ژینگه‌ و گۆڕانی كه‌شوهه‌وا له‌ سه‌نته‌ری توێژینه‌وه‌ی زانستی زانكۆی صلاحددین) دوو سیمیناری به‌سوودیان له‌باره‌ی بابه‌ته‌كه‌وه‌ خسته‌ڕوو.
