Medical Laboratory Students Spread Joy at Awat Institute for Down Syndrome in Erbil

In a heartwarming initiative, the 3rd and 4th stage students of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department at Knowledge University visited the Awat Institute for Down Syndrome children in Erbil. The visit, conducted under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Rzgar Farooq, and in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr. Zean Zafenkey, aimed to bring smiles and joy to the children. During the visit, the students distributed gifts and food packages to the children, fostering a spirit of compassion and community support. The gesture was met with enthusiasm and gratitude, as the children engaged warmly with the visiting group.
Dr. Rzgar Farooq expressed his pride in the students’ efforts, emphasizing the importance of combining professional education with community service.
