Workshop on Understanding Autism Held at Knowledge University

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

On November 24, 2025, the College of Science at Knowledge University, in coordination with the Haji Idris Surchi Center, organized a specialized workshop titled “Understanding Autism: Guidance for Parents.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Nasraw Mustafa, a specialist in psychological and behavioral therapy, and was attended by a number of parents of children with autism.

During the session, Dr. Mustafa provided detailed insights into the nature of autism, early signs, behavioral challenges, and effective strategies for supporting children both at home and in educational environments. The workshop also emphasized the importance of early intervention, parental involvement, and creating a supportive atmosphere for children with autism.
