College of Science Held a Seminar on World Heart Day

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

On the occasion of World Heart Day, the College of Science at Knowledge University organized an educational seminar with the presence of Prof. Dr. Talib Khalil Ibrahim, Vice President of Knowledge University for Scientific Affairs, faculty members, and a large number of students.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Shwan Osman Amin, Consultant Cardiologist, who presented valuable insights and practical guidance on the prevention, treatment, and latest developments in managing cardiovascular diseases. His lecture highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, healthy lifestyle choices, and modern therapeutic approaches to protect heart health.

As part of the event, free medical check-ups were provided for students and guests at the university. Health examinations were conducted in cooperation with the Dina Laboratory and ISO Lab, ensuring participants had the opportunity to monitor their wellbeing and receive professional advice.
