KNU Council Meets online

Knowledge University (KNU) is responding to the Coronavirus pandemic emergency situation in Kurdistan Region of Iraq and arrange for its university council meetings online. KNU Council meets after Newroz holiday to discuss the new situation and plans for completing the academic year. The regional government has advised the university to remain closed as the region is planning complete lockdown to further notice.

In the context of job hunting, “marketability of KNU graduates” refers to several things. It refers to how desirable a candidate is for employment consideration; what a candidate is worth as a prospective hire. Corporate employers want to hire academically prepared, highly motivated, and ambitious workers who offer them a good, long-term return on their investment. This workshop will motivate us to prepare our graduates to showcase their talent in the work front.

Solid waste management is an essential service in any society. Before introducing the process, however, let's start with a discussion of the material being managed—solid waste. Solid waste refers to the range of garbage materials—arising from animal and human activities—that are discarded as unwanted and useless. Solid waste is generated from industrial, residential, and commercial activities in a given area, and may be handled in a variety of ways. As such, landfills are typically classified as sanitary, municipal, construction and demolition, or industrial waste sites.

Czech Palacký University Delegation visited KNU

Sunday February 9, 2020, The president of Knowledge University (KNU) Dr. Dilan M Rostam received a delegation from the Czech Academic City - Palacký University in Erbil led by Prof. Howri Mansurbeg, member of the Board of Trustees. The visit focused on mutual academic relations and possible collaboration in various areas of higher education.
