President of Knowledge University Participates in ALECSO Meeting in Sharjah

The President of Knowledge University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dzaiy, attended the second meeting of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture, and Science (ALECSO), held in Sharjah, UAE. The meeting focused on the role of Arab universities in promoting greening activities within their buildings, environments, and broader societies.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzaiy delivered a detailed briefing on the structure and vision of Knowledge University, highlighting its commitment to environmental sustainability and the integration of green spaces across its campus. He emphasized the university’s dedication to fostering a sustainable and environmentally conscious academic environment, underscoring its efforts to lead by example in this critical area. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzaiy also showcased Knowledge University’s unique private museum, an embodiment of the institution's dedication to cultural preservation and education.

In his role as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sharjah University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzaiy held productive discussions with presidents of several Arab universities, exploring potential collaborations and laying the groundwork for future academic agreements.

As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dzaiy presented the special shield of Knowledge University to the General Secretary of ALECSO and the Director of the Directorate of Science and Scientific Research, symbolizing the university’s commitment to strengthening ties with ALECSO and its affiliates. Additionally, logos were exchanged with Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, President of Sharjah University, in a gesture of mutual respect and collaboration.
