College of Pharmacy Hosts Workshop on Well-being and Mental Health

In a significant event emphasizing the importance of mental health and well-being, the College of Pharmacy at Knowledge University organized a workshop titled "The Relationship Between Well-being and Mental Health".
The workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Dzeyi, President of Knowledge University, and supervised by Dr. Sarhang Hayas, Head of the Department. The event featured two renowned Kurdish personalities, Dr. Osman Halabjaiy and Dr. Zana Qasab, as keynote speakers. During the workshop, the speakers delved into the intricate connection between mental health and overall well-being, highlighting the social, psychological, and cultural factors that influence mental health in the Kurdish community. They also discussed strategies to promote mental resilience and foster a supportive environment for individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
