Knowledge University Participates in the Annual Meeting of the Union of Mediterranean Universities

A delegation from Knowledge University, led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Dashti Najmuddin Saeed, participated in the annual meeting of the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED), held at Istanbul Aydin University in Istanbul from October 23-24. The event brought together representatives from over 150 universities worldwide. During the meeting, the Knowledge University delegation, which included Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Aziz Saeed, Director of International Relations, held discussions with several university presidents from participating institutions. These discussions focused on exploring opportunities for joint academic and scientific collaboration.

The delegation also highlighted the significant development of Knowledge University, showcasing its faculties, departments, and infrastructure, which impressed many attendees. The participating universities expressed their admiration for the continued progress of Knowledge University.

A key outcome of the meetings was the delegation's discussion with Ms. Silvia, Director of UNIMED Programs, which resulted in an agreement to strengthen Knowledge University's membership in this prestigious union based in Rome, Italy. The discussions also focused on future collaborations, including student exchange programs with European universities and faculty and researcher exchanges. In the near future, a delegation from UNIMED is expected to visit Knowledge University's campus in Erbil to further solidify the agreements made during the Istanbul meeting.
