Law Department Completes Summer Course on Advocacy and Legal Drafting
In line with its commitment to the continued development of students, the Department of Law at Knowledge University completed an intensive month-long course today, 18th August 2024. The course aimed to enhance the skills of law students in advocacy, bill writing in civil and criminal lawsuits, as well as the appeal process from primary courts to final judgments. Held during the summer holidays, the course was attended by 78 students from various stages of study. Under the direct supervision of Dr. Anwar Omar Qadir, Head of the Department of Law, the program featured lessons led by a distinguished group of lecturers, including experienced judges and prosecutors.
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Anwar Dzeyi, President of Knowledge University, who praised the dedication of both the students and instructors. He emphasized the importance of such practical courses in shaping competent future legal professionals. At the conclusion of the event, awards were presented to the lecturers, judges, and prosecutors who contributed to the success of the program. Additionally, certificates of participation were awarded to the students, recognizing their efforts and achievements throughout the course.
