ELT Students Visit Regional Minister to Discuss Scholarships and Educational Opportunities

In a significant move to explore scholarships and educational opportunities, Miss Bekhal Baiz, the Head of the ELT department in the College of Education, led a group of ELT students on a visit to the Regional Minister for Components Affairs, Mr Ayden Maruf, on May 30th, 2023.

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to engage in a productive discussion with Mr Ayden Maruf, who generously gave them the floor to raise questions regarding scholarships. The students were eager to learn more about the avenues available to them for pursuing higher education with financial support.

Mr Ayden Maruf, recognizing the importance of empowering students through scholarships, shared valuable information about various educational opportunities and specifically highlighted the YTB scholarships funded by the Turkish government. These scholarships are aimed at supporting talented individuals to further their studies and contribute to their communities.
